Diamond Aircraft is an Austrian aircraft manufacturer with production facilities in Austria, Canada and China. The company is headquartered in the Lower Austrian city of Wiener Neustadt.
Diamond Aircraft is also the operator of the Wiener Neustadt/Ost airfield.
Diamond Aircraft’s composite single-engine DART is equipped with a 750 hp Pratt & Whitney Turboprop engine and is a tandem wing aerobatic trainer.
The DART represents an outstanding training platform with Garmin G3000 avionics, surround view canopy and optional ejection seats. The aircraft took its maiden flight in May 2016 and is currently in the process of certification.
