Diamond Aircraft’s composite twin-engine DA62 is equipped with 180 hp Austro Engine (subsidiary of Diamond Aircraft) jet fuel engines and carries up to seven people. The DA62 has won several awards, including the German Design Special Award, awards for best aircraft from the German aviation magazines Fliegermagazin and Aerokurier and was nominated for the Austrian Design State Prize.

The aircraft took its maiden flight in April 2012 and was certified by EASA in April 2014. The DA62 is valued worldwide as a luxury travel aircraft and particularly characterized by its generous cabin size, economy, safety and excellent flight performance.
