The Grob G 115 is a german-developed propeller aircraft that made its first flight in 1985. It is mostly used for pilot training and aerobatic training.
The high-quality fiber composites from which the G 115 is manufactured not only give it a low unladen weight of just 729 kg, but also a high surface quality: it withstands loads of +6/-3 g and is therefore fully capable of aerobatics.
On the AIRPOWER19, a GROB 115D from the Kondor sports pilot group based at Hinterstoisser Air Base can be seen in the static display.
