Cessna 170

Beginning in 1948, Cessna added the Cessna 170 to the existing model line. With four seats, it was an enlarged version of the Cessna 140 light aircraft.

Like the latter, the Cessna 170 was a shoulder-wing monoplane with strutted wings and rigid tailwheel landing gear. Almost 5200 examples of the 170, 170A, 170B and 170C model series were built between 1948 and 1956.

Our oldest aviator in the club. The Cessna 170 flew for the first time in 1948 shortly before the Salzburg Air Sports Association was founded.

At AIRPOWER22, the beauty can be admired in the Static Display.
