The OH-58B Kiowa is an armed light utility helicopter. It has a two-blade main and rear engine with exposed tail rotor shaft, a skid landing gear and is equipped with a turbine engine.
The Kiowa is used by the Armed Forces as a “boy scout” in air landings as well as for connecting and observation flights, image flights and border surveillance.

The Kiowa is armed in the Austrian army with an M-134 Minigun.
