Why are there no VIP tickets on sale this year?

In response to anti-corruption legislation, the organisers have decided in 2013 not to issue any VIP tickets for the event. In the past, VIP tickets have frequently been purchased by companies, often for purposes of corporate hospitality. However, the ticket price is considerably higher than the legally permitted financial limit currently applicable to such gifts. Owing to a significant drop in demand, the operation of an exclusive VIP Gold area would no longer be financially viable.

Admission to AIRPOWER16 itself continues to be free of charge to all visitors.

An extra area with basic catering will be available to invited guests of honour with a special relationship to the organisers (partners, exhibitors, sponsors and public figures).
