LOCKHEED C-130 "HERCULES"
The Lockheed C-130 "Hercules" serves with more than 70 nations and is one of the most versatile transport aircraft in the world. The Austrian Armed Forces primarily use it for foreign missions to provide logistical support and to rotate personnel.
With a payload of 19 tons, the "Hercules" still has a range of 3,000 kilometres, permitting it to transport 92 passengers or 64 parachutists as well as 74 stretchers and 2 medics to an operational area.
