The Swiss aircraft manufacturer Pilatus has specialized in the production of turboprop-driven training planes like the PC-9, currently used in 13 air forces for the training of future jet pilots.

The two-seater excels by its good-natured flight behavior (especially appreciated by beginners) and its sufficient power for challenging flight maneuvers. At AIRPOWER16, the Croatian aerobatics display team Krila Oluje (Wings of Storm) perform their show using six Pilatus PC-9.
