The Robinson R-44 is a four-seat single-engined helicopter with a six-cylinder flat engine with fuel injection. It was developed from the smaller R22 and took-off for its maiden flight on 31 March 1990. Since then over 5600 R-44 have been produced.

At AIRPOWER16 former ski jumping star Thomas Morgenstern presents his R-44 in the Static Display. He himself will actually come to Austria’s Airshow for signature sessions on Friday and Saturday at 1 pm in the Flying Bulls area of the Static Display.
