CASA C-101 AVIOJET
The CASA C-101 Aviojet is a single-engine training and light attack aircraft manufactured by Spain's Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA (CASA) since 1977. The aircraft has a modular design, allowing it to be prepped for a range of uses in a short space of time.
The Aviojet's reliability makes it an ideal trainer for early flight training as well as aerial combat training. World-wide there are 166 aircraft in various incarnations. Besides the Spanish Air Force, primary users of the C-101 include the Honduran, Chilean and Jordanian Air Forces.
The seven Aviojet aircraft of the Spanish Air Force aerobatic display team Patrulla Aguila will be making an appearance at AIRPOWER16.
